The stakeholders of BRG Street Community would like to announce the pre-launch of a new blog called Green Urban Paddle – greenurbanpaddle.com. The blog is a joint effort and its primary purpose is to promote concepts that lead to a better human existence while giving us the space as humans to laugh at ourselves and enjoy the reach bounty of experience available to us every day.
BRG Street Community is a concept that is being turned into a working proposal and team. BRG stands for Benevolent, Resourceful, and Green. The most common problem in community economics is that long-term sustainability and short-term profits are at odds with each other. These two goals actually work together and make each other stronger in the BRG Street Community proposal. The BRG Street proposal brings together a variety of known solutions in such a way that each piece strengthens the other pieces and reduces the risk of the project across all pieces. We could say many great things about BRG but we feel that most important aspect of BRG Street is that it is highly attractive to almost anyone. BRG members must meet one requirement. They must be willing to live – not just talk about – a life that is benevolent to others, a life that is resourceful and constructive, and a life that is concerned about the footprints we humans leave behind. This type of person will want to learn more about BRG Street and they may want to assist or even join BRG Street.
Montell Snyder is the primary blogger for Green Urban Paddle and one of the founding members of BRG Street Community. He has spent his life studying data, the integrity of data, the connection between moral responsibility and the profits of businesses, the ways in which humans change their minds, plus other topics in the areas of identity development, spiritual growth, and nonstandard mathematical structures. His life experiences cover everything from the absolutely awesome to the totally devastating. He loves to look beyond the obvious and look into the complexity of the simple and the simplicity of the complex.
Monty has had several successes and some failures. He is the father of two beautiful young ladies. He is a deeply spiritual man and loves studying the advances of technology. He is a country boy that now lives in the suburbs. He spends as much time as he can in nature. He has been married for over 22 years. His first wife, Kathy, after 20 years of marriage passed away in 2010. He remarried in 2014 after going through a unique journey of grief and self discovery. His new husband is not able to be out in his home country or family, but they enjoy the freedom they have here in America. They understand that centuries of misunderstanding about God and his creation has led many to look down on their love and relationship, but they are proud to be a part of the growing voice that says love is love. A voice that says all things must be in harmony with the principles of love, benevolence, and charity or they should be changed until they are.
Please enjoy the posts on Urban Green Paddle and follow along as more of the BRG Street team is introduced and as the BRG Street Community project takes shape.
What is up next for us? Promotion of the BRG Street round-table promotional events. These events take teams of interested parties through a process we call LOVE_ARC – Listen, Observe, Voice, Evaluate, ( a TBD step), Act, Review, Celebrate.
